Branding & UX/UI
Project Scope
The goal of this project was to rebrand an existing business with specialized events, and design a new home and events page for the web and mobile site. We also were to design branded assets for guests to enjoy and retrieve information from.
Brand Design
Who is A Tasteful Place?
A Tasteful Place is an edible garden at the Dallas Arboretum that lets visitors engage in cooking classes, demonstrations, taste-testings, viewing, and more. A Tasteful Place aims to educate visitors on the benefits of cooking with home-grown goods and how to prepare delicious meals out of fresh produce at home.
Logo & Branding
For the overall brand of A Tasteful Place, I wanted to create vintage aesthetic spread over a modern design. The pattern is used sparingly across the brand, and is based off vintage fruit and vegetable illustrations found on old gardening catalogs. By combining vintage-style imagery with a minimalist approach, I was able to create a modern-vintage branding system for A Tasteful Place.
For the logo, I integrated a plate and silverware with a flower to demonstrate the edible garden aspect of A Tasteful Place.
UX/UI
The site is minimalist and simple to use. Registering and finding information regarding events is quick and easy.
